Our family of five recently enjoyed a wonderful vacation near Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL). With its convenient location and abundance of family-friendly attractions, it was the perfect destination for our week-long stay.
Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort and Spa
We chose to stay at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort and Spa, which is just a quick drive from the airport. The hotel offers spacious guest rooms with stunning ocean views, a large swimming pool, and a variety of kids' activities. Our children loved the complimentary hula lessons and movies by the pool.
Waikiki Beach
Waikiki Beach is an iconic destination that's within walking distance of the Hyatt Regency. We spent several afternoons splashing in the warm waters, building sandcastles, and watching the surfers. The beach is well-maintained and has lifeguards on duty.

We recommend Alan Wong's a modern Hawaiian restaurant, and Yard House, a casual spot with a wide variety of dishes. For a quick and affordable meal, we enjoyed Zippy's, a local favorite known for its plate lunches.
