As a family of four, we recently had the pleasure of visiting the Hamilton area, conveniently located near Hamilton International Airport (YHM). With its abundance of family-friendly attractions, we were spoiled for choice!
Adventure City
Our first stop was Adventure City, an amusement park designed specifically for young children. Our kids had a blast on the mini roller coasters, water slides, and interactive attractions. The park also offers a shaded picnic area perfect for family lunches.
Royal Botanical Gardens
For a more serene experience, we visited the Royal Botanical Gardens, just a short drive from the airport. The gardens offer beautiful walking trails, a children's adventure garden, and the largest collection of rhododendrons in the world.
Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, a comfortable hotel located just minutes from the airport. The hotel offered family-sized rooms, a complimentary breakfast, and a heated indoor pool.
