As a family of adventure seekers, we recently embarked on an unforgettable trip near Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. We stayed at the Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis Airport, an excellent choice for families with its spacious rooms, complimentary amenities, and friendly staff.
Just a short drive from the airport, we discovered the incredible Saint Louis Zoo. With free admission, we explored habitats teeming with over 18,000 animals from around the globe. Our kids were mesmerized by the playful penguins, towering elephants, and magnificent lions.
For some indoor fun, we ventured to the City Museum, a unique and interactive playground made from recycled materials. The kids navigated through tunnels, climbed towering structures, and even slid down a slide made from a repurposed school bus!
Adjacent to the airport, we visited the St. Louis Science Center. With over 700 hands-on exhibits, our curiosity was ignited. We marvelled at the wonders of space in the Planetarium, conducted scientific experiments, and even touched a genuine dinosaur fossil.
Families looking for a splash of water will love Six Flags St. Louis. This thrilling amusement park offers over 100 rides and attractions, including the towering Screamin' Eagle roller coaster and the refreshing Splashwater Kingdom waterpark.
