Family Fun at Sugar Beach Resort, Mauritius
Just a short drive from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, Sugar Beach Resort is a tropical paradise for families.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcome drink for the kids. The resort's Kids' Club cater to children of all ages, offering daily activities such as face painting, movie nights, and treasure hunts.
Our room was spacious and well-equipped, with a separate seating area and a large balcony overlooking the crystal-clear waters of Flic en Flac beach. The kids especially loved the complimentary amenities, including beach toys and a mini-fridge stocked with snacks and drinks.
Sugar Beach Resort also boasts an impressive array of dining options. The main restaurant, Tides, serves a delicious buffet breakfast, while the beachfront Buddha-Bar features a wide selection of Asian cuisine. For a special treat, we dined at Citronella's, an award-winning fine dining restaurant.
The resort's swimming pool is a highlight, with multiple sections for both children and adults. There is also a water slide, lazy river, and a heated pool for cooler days. The attentive staff ensures that guests are well taken care of, providing refreshments and offering assistance with towels and umbrellas.
Beyond the resort, there are plenty of family-friendly attractions in the area. We visited the Casela Nature Park, where we saw lions, tigers, and elephants up close. We also took a boat trip to Benitiers Island, a secluded paradise with stunning views and excellent snorkeling opportunities.
Overall, our family trip to Sugar Beach Resort was an unforgettable experience. The exceptional amenities, warm hospitality, and child-centric activities made it the perfect destination for a fun and relaxing vacation near Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.
