Our family recently had the opportunity to explore the vibrant surroundings of Tobias Bolaños International Airport (SJO) in San José, Costa Rica. The close proximity of the airport to numerous family-friendly attractions made it an ideal destination for our adventure.
La Sabana Metropolitan Park
Just a short drive from SJO, we discovered La Sabana Metropolitan Park, a lush green oasis in the heart of the city. Our kids loved exploring the playground, running around the lake, and observing the diverse wildlife. They were especially thrilled by the zip line and the carousel.
National Museum
For a dose of history and culture, we headed to the National Museum of Costa Rica, located a convenient distance from the airport.
